Dudhsagar Falls   |   Belgaum

Literally meaning the ‘Sea of milk’, Dudhsagar falls indeed feels like its milk falling from a height. With 310 metres height and 30 metres width, Dudhsagar falls is one of the largest waterfalls in India. It is located at the border of Karnataka and Goa, 46 km east of Madgaon and 80 km south of Belgaum.

Dudhsagar is a feast to the senses during the monsoons. However, a tour to the falls is nothing less of an adventure. The falls is located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park among the Western Ghats. Though accessible by train upto a distance, travellers have to walk a dangerous and modestly resourced path to reach the falls. It is advisable that young people seeking trekking or camping experiences take the assistance of professionals, who are exclusively available to provide service on trekking tours to Dudhsagar. With expert guidance, Dudhsagar can provide a heaven-like experience for campers and trekkers.
